Postdoctoral Researcher - Position closed

We are currently seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our AI for Protein Design lab in Barcelona. The candidate will be responsible for the training and implementation of intelligent agents, as well as the application of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques in the field of protein design.

Ideal qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, or a related field. The position is available for a three-year term, with the possibility of extension. Both on-site and hybrid work arrangements are possible.

MSCA PhD Position - Position closed

We have an open Marie Curie skłodowska Action (MSCA) PhD position to start this fall (2023) or early 2024 within an outstanding industrial network of various pharma companies and universities in Europe.

Lab Manager - Position closed

We are looking for a researcher with a broad experience in protein characterization (cloning, expression, purification).

Qualifications:

  • MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.

  • At least three years of wet lab experience.

  • Knowledge of protein chemistry and biophysical methods involved in the characterization and formulation of proteins.

  • Hands-on experience in analyzing proteins by methods such as chromatography, gel electrophoresis, fluorescence spectroscopy, and crystallography.

  • Experience in setting up protein stability studies.

  • Ability to speak Catalan or Spanish to get in contact with local suppliers and maintenance companies.

We are a small lab, and you will take responsibility for the wet-lab work, occasionally managing incoming students. As a person, you are result oriented, can take the initiative, and drive your activities autonomously. This is a long-term position, with an initial contract of four years.
